Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. Both her parents are both English. She was born in a South London council estate and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. She was a part of various stages during her high school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began with Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she played Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In the same time, she starred as Ollie in six episodes each from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. Also, the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being ended on The CW. In February, she was cast 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. The departure of Madekwe from the show was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season three. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba in the TV series Salem. Then, in June of 2012 Madekwe was married to her long-time love actor Iddo Goldberg. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he has also appeared alongside Madekwe in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Her parents were Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball in summers and played hockey during winter. Ashley was unable to walk, but could dance. This led to the fact that at the age of 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top individualist".
